You upload job descriptions, candidate information (names, contact details, resumes, skills, salary information), and pipeline data. This data is stored to provide the Service and is owned by you.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the Service, including features accessed, actions taken, and timestamps. This helps us improve the platform and enforce usage limits.
AI Interaction Data
Conversations with our AI assistant (Maverick) and AI-generated content (job descriptions, scoring, matching) are processed to provide responses. Chat history is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to third parties.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
- AI Processing: Job descriptions and candidate data are sent to Anthropic (Claude API) for AI analysis. Anthropic does not use your data to train models.
- Data Providers: Job titles and locations (not personally identifiable information) may be sent to our data partners for compensation and market intelligence.
- Payment Processing: Stripe processes subscription payments.
- Email Services: Resend sends transactional emails on our behalf.
- Screening Specialists:When you request a candidate screening, the candidate's name, contact information, and job details are shared with BlueLine screening specialists to conduct the call.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Neon PostgreSQL, Vercel). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and implement access controls to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we permanently delete your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Cookies

8. Candidate Privacy
If you are a candidate whose information has been uploaded to BlueLine by a recruiter or employer: the recruiter or employer is the data controller. BlueLine processes your data on their behalf. To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, contact the recruiter who uploaded it, or contact us directly and we will assist.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.
